    I am an interactive, search and social media marketing consultant.  I have almost 12 years of experience in Internet marketing, direct marketing, business development and social media networking. I have worked with clients of all shapes and sizes and within various industries. I am truly proud of what I have achieved thus far and my passion for what I do continues to grow each and every day. I still love to explore new territories and discuss business strategies with every opportunity that comes my way.

    I am available for private speaking engagements, consultations, interviews, brain-storming sessions and commissioned projects.

    Until September, 2009, I was working as the interactive marketing director for Sper Scientific – a supplier of scientific and environmental testing equipment.  I had been working there since the beginning of 2008 and really enjoyed the challenge it presented.  One of the best parts of this job was developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and customers all over the World.  As such, I have been fortunate to travel to many places that I had never been to before including China.  In addition to the relationships, my primary focus was to increase revenue through direct sales.  By incorporating, developing and managing various online and direct marketing initiatives like personal selling, direct mail, email, affiliate programs, pay-per-click (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO) and social media networking, we experienced a 40% increase in gross profits year-over-year during my time there. I left Sper Scientific to work full time as an independent consultant.

    Prior to Sper Scientific, I was President of Tout Media – an interactive marketing agency that specialized in website design and development, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media and online media planning and buying.  As president, I managed all aspects of the organization from finance to account management to marketing and direct sales.  I worked directly with clients to develop and integrate various marketing strategies including direct mail, email, pay-per-click, banner advertising, contextual marketing, PR, social media and search engine optimization.

    Before starting Tout Media, I was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at USWeb – a leading Internet services firm the helps clients achieve revenue, profit, market share and customer loyalty through Internet strategies and solutions.  I built and managed the sales team to 15 representatives nation-wide.  I also developed and initiated a search engine optimization and search engine marketing strategy for the company and recruited the talent necessary to include those services to our customers.

    iCrossing, a digital marketing company that specializes in collaborative web development solutions, is where my passion for internet marketing started.  At iCrossing, we helped to pioneer the search engine optimization and search engine marketing industry by being one of the first agencies that focused in that area exclusively.  As a senior account manager, I was responsible for building relationships with, and managing campaigns for, several Fortune 500 companies like Nestle, Fairmont Hotels and Kellogg’s.  I also managed a team of sales lead qualifiers.  Our team was consistently in the top three for sales on a monthly basis and helped get the company to over $25 million in annual sales revenue.
