I was born in Hoboken, NJ on November 17, 1971. A few years later my parents decided to move to Arizona, where I have lived ever since. I grew up in Tempe, a suburb of Phoenix and home of the Arizona State Sun Devils. As a child I spent many summer vacations with my maternal grandparents in and around the New York City and Hoboken area. . I have fond memories of going down the Jersey Shore, to the museums in New York City, to Broadway shows and to Coney Island as a kid.
Growing up in Tempe, Arizona was great. I attended public schools for the most part including Wood Elementary, Fees Jr. High and Marcos de Niza High School. During the summer between my Junior and Senior years in high school, my parents moved further out into the suburbs to Chandler, AZ. I made the transition to Chandler High School and graduated from there in 1989.
On June 22, 1991, my daughter Courtney was born. She has been a true blessing in my life. Although the relationship between her mother and I didn’t last, we both stayed in the Chandler area and as such, I have been fortunate to develop a very close relationship with Courtney over the last 18 years. She too just graduated from Chandler High School – Class of 2009.
After my daughter was born, I started taking some classes at the local community college and ultimately attained my Associates Degree and Certification in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology. I was always very good in math and science and thought that a career in the exciting field of micro-computing was the perfect match for me.
On July 8, 2005, I met the most amazing woman in the world – Dawna Hogarty. I was fortunate, persuasive and persistent enough to convince her to marry me. On March 10, 2007 we tied the knot at what was one of the most amazing parties and truly memorable events of my lifetime. Dawna and I have been through a great deal together in such a short time, and through it all we have remained happy and healthy. We live together in Chandler and just a short distance away from much of our family.
During all of this I did also manage to go back to school and receive my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing.
